| DAY 2: Urban Landform Feng Shui |

Are there really ‘landforms’ in the City? Students
have found the answer to this question at the end of Day Two.
The day kicked off with a classroom session that packed in plenty
of advanced San Yuan and San He formulas. As always, Joey believes
in giving students everything and not holding back any ‘secret
information’. The formulas were explained, including all the
whys and hows, along with photographs collected by Joey over the
years that illustrated the points aptly.

Joey then drew on the landform concepts outlined in the
ancient classics Re Di Yan, Di Li Wu Jue, Xue Xin Fu and Qing Nang
Jing to throw open the topic of landform or Luan Tou analysis and
study. |

Following a lunch break, students were immediately thrown into
the deep end and faced their first audit, their own hotel! They
were set the task of evaluating the Feng Shui of the Mutiara Hotel.
With their luo pans and working together with their team-members,
students checked out the Feng Shui of the hotel and then compiled
their findings and presented them to their classmates.

The idea was for students to think before being guided
to the answers, which were given to them during the analysis session
by Joey. After a morning of looking at pictures of landforms in their
folders. Joey showed the students how to train their eyes to recognise
the mountain formations within the urban landscape and opened their
eyes to Luan Tou in the City! |

By the end of this day, students had their ‘eyes’ opened
to Landform. They knew exactly what to look for and how to identify
Luan Tou formations even in the City! To those who ‘saw nothing’
at first, by the end of this day, they were jumping with excitement
with what they’ve learned to ‘see’. |
