Joey Yap was invited by Alliance Bank to present a talk during its 'Understanding the Market and Increasing Fortunes' event for its valued corporate clients and customers. It was held at the Sime Darby Convention Centre on the Wednesday of February 11, 2009 from 6 PM onward. Joey presented his talk on the Feng Shui predictions for investment. There was a short Q&A session at the end of his talk to allow audience members to raise any interesting points of note related to Feng Shui in the investment sector.

The talk was attended by distinguished members of the banking and financial industries. These include Liew Swee Lin, Alliance Head of Consumer Banking; Sue Tang, Alliance Head of Wealth Management; Andrew Wong, CIO of Equities, AmInvestment; Michael Auyeung Director/CEO/CIO of Pacific Mutual Fund; and Gary Gan, General Manager of Business Development & Marketing, Pacific Mutual Fund.
