Bridging BaZi and Feng Shui
Source : STProperty
Date : 9 Nov 2012
by Joey Yap

In Chinese Metaphysics, it's said that BaZi (Chinese Astrology) is the "diagnosis" while Feng Shui is the "prescription" to the problem. Uncovering a problem to your situation is oftentimes more effective if an examination of your BaZi Chart and a Feng Shui assessment are included together.

Consider these real-life situations and notice how they bridge the connection between BaZi and Feng Shui.

Case One
An initial Feng Shui audit was conducted for one home owner, where a Piercing Heart Sha was noted on his property. The Piercing Heart Sha refers to a formation where a lamp post is located directly in front of the Main Door, obstructing the Qi flow. If faced South, this inauspicious arrangement will indicate potential problems to the eyes or the heart.

To confirm this founding, a simple BaZi analysis was then recommended. Consistent with the earlier assessment, his chart revealed a collision between the element of Zi (Rat) and Wu (Horse), or better known as a Fire and Water Clash. This explosive encounter was a clear indication of a heart problem, most likely a heart attack.

The home owner was advised to take the necessary medical precautions to detect the potential health problem immediately before it intensifies.

Case Two
As this is the Dragon Year, accidents are expected if a clash between Chen (Dragon) and Xu (Dog) is found in a BaZi Chart. If Xu was found in the Month Pillar during a BaZi analysis, it signifies a clash that will represent injuries to the left side of the human body. To determine the magnitude of the problem, a Feng Shui assessment is highly recommended for the home owner with such BaZi Chart.

In this case study, the results obtained simply reinforced the idea suggested earlier. The Feng Shui audit discovered a negative feature located to the Southeast (5) area, a negative sector for 2012, outside the property. If triggered, this area could cause health problems, accidents or even catastrophes.

Luckily, the BaZi and Feng Shui assessments allow the home owner to enforce the necessary health and safety precautions to minimise the impending danger and issues.

Both BaZi and Feng Shui will essentially borrow each others' strengths in deriving a consistent and accurate outcome. As such, knowledge and awareness are a potent source of power. Through Joey Yap's Feng Shui & Astrology (FSA) 2013 seminar, learn where you stand next year, and how easy it is for you to draw on the opportunities present through the combined benefits of BaZi and Feng Shui to find your path to success and happiness ahead.
