In the first article on Face Reading, we looked at the first of two faces that are suitable for leaders and entrepreneurs - the Water Face. This second article will talk about The Metal Face - The Leader. A Metal Face person is usually easy to spot. Their face is usually oval with a strong, sturdy and aggressive appearance. They also usually have broad chins and foreheads and have pasty or pale complexions.
Based on the Five Elements, Metal represents righteousness, altruism, courage, strength and determination. Thus, you will often find Metal-faced people having these characteristics. They are also courageous individuals possessing a forthright nature that is highly principled. These are people who believe in the law and will fight for what they believe in. They are careful and cautious in their decision-making, often weighing the pro and cons before taking any actions. Metal-faced people are best suited for jobs in legal or administrative fields and they are natural born leaders who will always provide support and strength to those around them.
However, despite all these positive characteristics, there is a downside as Metal people are prone to quick tempers and are calculative. How do we know that? For starters, what happens when metal is heated up? It stays hot for a long time - hence Metal people are prone to losing their temper easily when they are provoked. Metal is also the only one Element that cuts through objects. That is why Metal-faced people are also calculative individuals as well.
Since Metal-faced people are usually decisive, if their faces are too bony or if they have shaded or hooded eyes, they are likely to be slow-decision makers. Be cautious if you are dealing with a Metal-faced person that have a narrow chin or slanted forehead as they will hold personal grudges and will never let you forget anything you have ever done to them, no matter how minor your transgression to them.
Now that you know some pointers on face reading, does this mean that you will always end up choosing your employees and friends based on their faces? While you may have gained some tips on how to read a person's face, that does not mean that you should pass judgement on every single person who approaches you. Nobody is perfect - not even you. You may meet people whose features indicate that they are cunning and jealous when it comes to money matters or know friends or employees with low self-esteem (a low bridge nose with downward growing, sparse eyebrows).
The people you work and meet will not be perfect. If you find these features, the first thing to do is to acknowledge these setbacks and recognize these as part of the person. They may not be changeable. It is a different story if you find less than favourable features on your own face however. If you find there are features on your face that you dislike, you might be tempted to go under a plastic surgeon's knife. Before you do anything hasty, take a moment to think. Perhaps if you are able to change your heart, then you may also change your face. Your facial features comes from your inner being and when you change your attitude, behavior and thoughts, your features will eventually reflect that. This is a change that no plastic surgeon's blade can achieve.
