Dear Joey
You have become an excellent teacher.
Thank you for making it easier for us to understand. Especially your teaching of flying star. Jacqueline Fuchs, U.S.A.
A fortuneteller predicts the outcome of your life based on the stars; a "transformer" says you can change your stars. So says Joey Yap, 36, who has an accounting degree, wears a sharp suit, talks business like an investor - and is also founder of the Feng Shui and BaZi firm Joey Yap Consulting Group, and the Mastery Academy of Chinese Metaphysics in Kuala Lumpur.
Yap is a metaphysical consultant to multinationals and some of the richest people in the world. Based in Malaysia, he travels regularly to his company’s branches in Singapore and Australia, and gives life-changing seminars from Japan to Slovenia. All because a stargazer once told him he wasn’t destined to be a wealthy man, he started studying (and practicing) Feng Shui at age 15 - "I wanna be the first that can change destiny" was his goal - and become a self-made millionaire at age 26.
The young consultant says that his intention is to teach people how to use Feng Shui and BaZi charts as assessment tools to make better decisions and transform lives. It may not be the only tool at their disposal - he mentions financial analytics and personality - based analytics such as Myers-Briggs or D.I.S.C profiling - but they can use metaphysics to assess their options and make an informed choice. The key to success, he says, is awareness. Awareness is what everyone needs - with or without Feng Shui… Awareness is the first key to change, because when you are aware of something, then you have an opportunity to change it. Without awareness, most people live in circles, and they struggle.
