Hiring the right people with BaZi Profiling

SINCE organizations can be viewed as systems, management can also be defined as human action, including design, to facilitate the production of useful outcomes from a system.

This view opens the opportunity to 'manage' oneself, a pre-requisite to attempting to manage others.

In this context, a manager must first look and evaluate him or herself before even start to look at others for instance the employee.

In BaZi Profiling, managers with different traits can excel in the management field where hiring and working with people becomes something so effective but only with thr right approach.

A good manager

In BaZi Profiling, we have five structures which are the Wealth, Output, Influence, Resource and Companion. Normally for a manager it is better to have the Wealth or the Influence structure.

The reason for having the two structures is that these people are often unbiased and want to get things done. No personal emotions are involved in their field of work but they work based on merits and not on relationships.

Companion structure prioritises on relationship, while the Resource structure people take a long time analysing almost everything they do and Output structure hires people based on their physical looks.

Hence, Wealth works highly based on results while the Influence structure manager looks at people based on their capabilities.

Managing a diverse group of people

It is often quite difficult to manage all types of people. We will have to evaluate base on the situation, for instance if the team is only a small group of people, then a manager with Wealth structure will be more effective.

This is because these people in the Wealth structure are very responsible and are able to get a project or work done within a short period of time.

On the other hand, if you already have a business system or franchise, then the Influence structure play a better role because they operate following procedures or what we call Standard Operating Procedures.

However, there is a special case where a company lacks of creativity for example promotion, sales and marketing then a manager may employ people with Output structure which has the ability to innovate new ideas.

When it comes to managing the internal aspects of the company, then a Resource structure individual are better with numbers, facts and data. As for networking, people with Companion structure have very good networks.

To manage all these types of people, it is essential to understand their nature. Everyone can be a leader in his or her own structure but with the correct approach base on their Bazi Profiles.

When a manager is unable to manage a team

Often when this happen is because the manager lacks of leadership and every team member requires a different approach.

Every profile has its own leadership style, for example connectors need to lead in a form of having top-notch communication skills. If they are a manager in themselves then they need to be extremely competent in what they do to show his ability to lead. Here we look at their higher end of their profile.

Resource structure people must significantly have vast knowledge in what they do because people respect people with a lot of knowledge. As for the Output structure, they need to be charismatic and for the Influence structure they lead because of title.

There are different types of people with different qualities so we need to find out who we are and what our missing skills are based on the BaZi profile. WE need to be well-versed with our own BaZi Profile to improve and perform better.

The main reason some manager is unable to lead is because he or she is not a leader. What makes a person a leader? A leader must have followers as working alone does not make you a leader.

In short, a leader must have the inspiration to attract people and have the ability to lead based on skills. Every BaZi profile is different and needs to be acquired and understood.

Handling 'difficult' member in your team

Every department, branch or company sure has at least one pain-in-the-neck employee which the majority finds him or her hard to work with.

Fortunately, there will always be one type of people to counter another person. For every one of the profiles there is always one type of person that could influence, change or control them. Pairing them together in the team will produce positive results reason being that everything has a Yin and Yang.
