October 29-30, 2011
In this modern day and age, while in pursuit of an absolute achievement in life, nurturing the importance of the quality of life remains our main mission. In all aspects of our life, be it our environment, career and family, nothing should escape our total attention.
Taking into account these life essentials, Joey Yap descended upon the Sands Expo & Convention Hall in Marina Bay Sands, Singapore recently to deliver a talk on Practical Feng Shui Tips for Property Buyers. Joey's talk, held on October 29 between 2.30pm and 4pm, was part of the two-day iProperty.com EXPO, which was also attended by top industry leaders in the region.
With a massive turnout of over 150 participants, Joey emphasized on this art of "assessing" the quality of life through observations and analysis of a person's living environment. He taught the attendees that in order to improve and sustain one's living quality, they ought to learn to recognize and tap into the Qi of the living environment to help their endeavors in life.
Affirmatively understanding the common misconception that Feng Shui is yet another superstitious belief, Joey set the record straight about how Classical Feng Shui harmonizes the unseen energies in our environment with the people that live within it.This is where Qi, or the naturally-recurring cosmic energies that form our Life Force, comes in. What makes Qi vital in life is not only does it exist in every living being; it perpetually breathes Life into the living beings thereof.
Participants were exposed to the four major elements that demand our whole attention when purchasing our properties, which are the Environment, Residents, Time and Building itself. Participants were then briefed on the significance of evaluating their Qi quality which serves as the dominant role towards achieving the desired outcome in redirecting, rechanneling, revitalizing or refreshing their Qi.
In addition to the Classical Feng Shui practice and knowledge, Joey also presented on BaZi (Chinese Astrology), Mian Xiang or the Chinese art of Face Reading and the Outlook for 2012. The crowd didn't pass on the opportunity to interact with Joey as they learnt firsthand on how to read the BaZi chart to determine their personality.
The participants responded positively to the talk and were more eager to immediately put into practice what they had learned from the talk in their life.
