There is no better way to mark the end of a year in celebration of an upcoming one with an extra boost of priceless knowledge and encouragement. Such is the case for a group of 133 inspired employees of Great Eastern Life Assurance when they were gathered for a special talk on Outlook & Opportunities for 2012 recently.

Taking place at Menara Great Eastern, Mastery Academy's master trainer, international speaker and best-selling author, Joey Yap aspired to educate the attendees on what the New Year will bring for everyone. He began with the general forecast for 2012, the Year of the Water Dragon, revealing which industry will stand to benefit the most in 2012. Always generous to share his knowledge and insights, Joey went on to give tips on how they could flourish in their industry.

Perhaps the crowd was even more enthusiastic about learning the easy ways they could practice to usher in positive energies into their homes and office so as to increase their potential for success and happiness. Joey revealed how these energies affect us personally, and more importantly, how they could benefit from the positive cycles and avoid negative setbacks as well.

No doubt was the crowd responsive all throughout the talk, but perhaps the highlight of it all was when Joey explained about the concept of Xuan Kong Life Gua, or the 9 Life Stars. Joey stated that each individual Life Star is tailored to different people, derived from our specific Year of Birth. What's more, it also differs between men and women, making every Life Star unique in its own way.
