January 10, 2012
The start of any New Year always excites us with so much to look forward to. For 320 Premier clients of OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad, the chance to attend Joey Yap's Outlook and Opportunities for 2012 talk was one not to be missed.
Gathered at the Ballroom of Westin Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, the crowd looked more eager than ever that evening to discover more about their life's potential this year. Indeed, it is not everyday that we get to hear from Joey himself about what the entire year has to offer, in all aspects of our life - be them Wealth, Health, Career and Relationship.
Sharing his insights of Feng Shui and Astrology for 2012, Joey captivated his crowd by introducing the key fundamentals on what to expect throughout the year, which later led to the general forecast of the Year of the Water Dragon, 2012.
The subject of the Xuan Kong 9 Life Stars often charms just about everyone wishing to understand more about their potential in life. The crowd was astonished to have learned that each of us is created with our very own unique and individual Life Star that characterizes who we are as a human being.
Joey explained that our Life Star is significant for our self-understanding as it details all the information we ever need to know about ourselves. Not only that, it reveals our Favorable and Unfavorable personal directions as well as other guides that affect our personal life. Delineated as the blueprint of our life, - as it is tailored to our Year of Birth - it helps us stay on course towards fulfilling our lifelong aspirations.
Of course, when we talk about Feng Shui, we can't help but relate it to another branch of Chinese Metaphysics; BaZi. Joey didn't forget to highlight its purpose to us, which is to help us determine our direction in life towards securing a prosperous Destiny, on top of understanding our own personality through our strengths and weaknesses. He even took the opportunity to describe the BaZi Charts of 2011 and 2012 - a perfect nature for his annual forecast.
Subsequently, the audience seemed amused to learn about Mian Xiang. This ancient art of Face Reading tickled the fancy of many as it revealed how every line, mark, feature and indentation on our face could tell us so much about ourselves! We've been told so many times about not judging any book by its cover, well; maybe this is a reason why we could? Who knew our face could harbor so much about our Health matters, outlook on Wealth, potential in Relationship, even Life on the whole?
It's true what people say, learn as much as a sponge could absorb to its best. The crowd may have learned something new in their life, but they showed their enthusiasm to practice what they learned from the talk as much as they expressed their excitement for the New Year ahead of them.
