In conjunction with the Chinese New Year festivity, Kim Realty organized the Chinese New Year Fiesta, a special event where Dato' Joey Yap was engaged as a speaker. The event was graced by over 80 guests made up of potential property buyers and existing clients of the property development firm. It was held at 30 Laman Villa in Klang, Selangor on February 9, 2014.

Dato' Joey began his hour-long talk by focusing on the general outlook for the Wood Horse Year with the help of the year's BaZi Astrology Chart. He followed up with an interesting section on the methods and advantages of learning the art of Face Reading.

He also spent some time explaining the impacts of having different Animal Signs in various Pillars of a person's BaZi Chart. He concluded the talk with a section on the Flying Stars sectors of a property where he elaborated on the steps to activate the positive sectors of a property.
