  April 27th, 2004 - Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia (Mum's Place, Damansara Perdana) The Rotary Club of Petaling Jaya invited
Joey Yap to be a speaker at their weekly meeting and to speak to their members
about the basics of authentic, classical Feng Shui.
The topic Joey Yap was to present - "Introduction to Feng Shui". Prior to the
talk, many members were skeptical and wondering what it might be about. Many had
read a little on Feng Shui and were very sure they already knew the basics of
Feng Shui. Some even had very skeptical looks on their faces and thought it might
be 'just another Feng Shui talk'. .
Some ladies were already asking where their crystals should be placed..
But as the talk began, the look of inquisitive wonderment on the attendees faces
clearly indicated that Joey Yap had burst their bubble and they were in for more
information on authentic Feng Shui. .
Just the very first topic on the difference between Classical and New Age Feng
Shui already had the Rotarians leaning forward in curiosity - no one had ever
told them there was a clear difference. They were happy to learn how Feng Shui
really worked and what was and wasn't Classical Feng Shui..
The talk focused on the basic tenets of Feng Shui and Joey Yap also took the opportunity
to introduce to the attendees the basics of 8 Mansion Feng Shui and Flying Star
Feng Shui. A long list of professionals and distinguished Rotary club members
were present for Joey Yap's talk and their questions and natural curiosity made
it a very exciting and interesting class..
