There was a flurry of activity at the Quest on Lonsdale in Melbourne between the days of September 10 to September 13, as students gathered there to embark on BaZi study. Mastery Academy Instructor Chan Chi Tim was on hand to teach BaZi Mastery Series Module 1 on September 10, and BaZi Mastery Series Module 2 between September 11 and September 13.
Module 1 introduced students to the basics of BaZi. They got to know just exactly what was meant by the terms 'Heavenly Stems' and 'Earthly Branches.' Chi Tim taught them the essential components of a BaZi chart, and what the respective Pillars (BaZi is known as the Four Pillars of Destiny) are meant to indicate.
The excitement could really begin in earnest on the first day of Module 2. This is when students get their hands dirty (figuratively speaking!) with BaZi chart analysis. They explored the concept of BaZi Structures and learned how to combine the information gleaned from the Structures along with the Day Master to get a fuller picture of a person's personality.
Module 2 also exposed students to the concept of the Useful God. It was this in Module that students discovered how a strong understanding of The Five Elements and how the elements interact with each other formed a crucial basis for BaZi knowledge.
Using some examples from his own experience to give students a wider, more expansive picture of BaZi application, Chi Tim provided them with an inspiring taste for more of Destiny Analysis.
