January 23, 2010
Within a week, Joey Yap's 'Succeeding in Turbulent Times' headed down south to the Raffles City Convention Centre in Singapore. The huge turnout at the Padang and Collyer Halls on Saturday, January 23, 2010, was ample testimony to his highly anticipated Feng Shui & Astrology Seminar for 2010.
Participants comprising Feng Shui enthusiasts, seasoned practitioners and fans of Joey Yap showed up early for registration. It did not take long before the best seats in both halls were all filled. As the number of participants swelled into a crowd that was beyond expectations, the organizers quickly added more seats to accommodate everyone.
Joey came on stage amidst a rapturous welcome from all present. True to form, he presented to the participants what they had all waited anxiously to know - an overview of the year 2010 based on the five elements industry outlook, followed by further insight into the annual forecast from the Feng Shui perspective.
Members of the audience diligently took notes of Joey's expert tips on what they can do to activate the auspicious Stars residing in certain sectors of their home or office so that they can maximise the benefits in various aspects of their lives. They listened just as attentively to his advice on how to mitigate the negative influences of the Feng Shui Afflictions for 2010.
For the BaZi session, Joey first demonstrated to the participants how to plot their own BaZi charts. They were delighted to know it can be done not only manually but also electronically via Joey Yap's website and even using their own mobile phones! The participants found out how each of the 12 Animal Signs (Chinese Astrology) would fare for 2010.
Joey's rip-roaring explanations of techniques on Face Reading were accepted with much laughter. The participants learned how to fulfill their own potential with the aid of positive Stars as well as navigate their way around the presence of inauspicious Stars during the year.
The participants' eagerness to apply the new knowledge gained was evident during the breaks between the various sessions. They would make a beeline for the booths set up at the venue to ask about the latest related products, courses and consultation services. Among the popular buys of the day were Joey Yap's BaZi Essentials series of handy-sized books and Tong Shu planners.
The final session on Date Selection was greatly appreciated by many participants. Some wanted to know the good dates for resuming business or work after Chinese New Year while others had specific occasions in mind.
The participants also had the opportunity to interact in person with Joey at the Question-and-Answer session conducted during the seminar as well as at the book-signing event held after the seminar.
As they left the venue at the end of the day, they were confident they were already off to a great start for 2010. They knew what the year ahead holds in store for them and how they can make 2010 a successful year for themselves, their business or career and their family members.
