With the year 2010 set for blazing new trails, Joey Yap presented his first ever event on Feng Shui in Thailand, which was organised by a subsidiary company of Nation Group - the leading news, media, communications and information provider in Thailand. Entitled 'Feng Shui for Home and Condominium Buyers', the workshop was held at the Radisson Hotel in Bangkok on Friday, February 5.
Living up to Thailand's worldwide reputation as the 'Land of Smiles', the 180 people who were present for Joey's workshop from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. gave him a warm reception, resounding with 'sawaddee krab' and 'sawaddee ka'.
Starting the workshop on the right note, Joey educated the attendees on the differences between New Age Feng Shui and Classical Feng Shui and how certain beliefs have no relevance in the application of the latter.
Throughout the workshop, attendees received Joey's personal guidance in finding residences with favorable Feng Shui and in taking the facing direction of their homes. He gave special attention to condominiums because it is a bigger challenge to get the direction correct for high-rise residential units compared to landed properties.
Joey also showed them how to use the Flying Stars chart with their floor plans and how to effectively make use of the good directions to derive positive results for all the residents. In addition, the attendees learnt how to personalise their selection by implementing the Life Gua system to enhance further the quality of life for home dwellers.
