Joey Yap presented three sessions of Practical Feng Shui for Property Buyers during the Setia4U Showcase at Legar Putra, PWTC, Kuala Lumpur, recently. The three-day event was organized by one of Malaysia's leading developer, S P Setia Bhd Group.
Each day, Joey gave a two-hour talk that covers Feng Shui essentials any property buyers and owners need to know. Those who attended the talk learnt the importance of selecting the right property for themselves and their family members to ensure that all occupants will benefit from its auspicious energy or Qi.
Joey taught the audience about Feng Shui Afflictions and Annual Flying Stars for the year, and also showed them the correct way to take the direction of a property. He went on to explain about the Xuan Kong Nine Life Stars and how the attendees can identify their personal Life Star or Life Gua number, which is derived from a person's Year of Birth. A person's Life Gua dictates his or her positive and negative Directions, and with these directions, which utilize the Eight Trigrams, itcan determine the many different situations and factors affecting a person. In short, a person can identify their best directions to increase their potential for success in life.
Apart from the Feng Shui segment, Joey also gave a brief lesson on Mian Xiang or the Chinese art of Face Reading, and taught the audience simple techniques they can apply on the spot. In addition, they learnt about BaZi (Chinese Astrology) and how to read a BaZi chart to determine one's personality.
For those new to Feng Shui, these talks were definitely a great opportunity to find out more about it. Those who attended clearly had a good time learning from Joey and were eager to practice what they learn immediately.
