Over 1200 people, from all over Malaysia and some from neighbouring Singapore,
attended Joey Yap's Feng Shui and Astrology for 2005 one day talk at the prestigious
Nikko Hotel, in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday, 16th January 2005.
The crowds began arriving as early as 8:30am although the event was only scheduled
to start at 10:00. They must have sensed the excitement in the air and knew
the best seats in the house would be snapped up fast if they didn't get to Nikko
Hotel early.
By the time Joey Yap started his talk - the simmering anticipation was thick
in the air. More chairs had to be set up to accommodate even more attendees
who had come a little late; the organizers had expected a turnout of about 1000
people but the overwhelming last-minute registrations caught them by surprise.
With a few sincere apologies for the delay, the emcee introduced Joey Yap.
As Joey walked on to the stage, the seminar participants have him a rousing
welcome.
Joey begun the session by first, debunking the common concerns about the Feng
Shui of the year and giving the audience a quick and easy guide to Classical
Feng Shui. This would set the audience on the right track and ensure proper
fundamentals from the start.
Then it was straight into the important stuff - where are the key wealth sectors
for 2005 and what are the sectors that a person should avoid. Joey shared with
the audience many industry and trade secrets on how home owners and business
owners can quickly, easily tap into the auspicious Qi for the year, without
the need to "turn your office or home into a Chinese restaurant".
"I am so very pleased with Master Joey's talk
today. I've been to others that only tell you to buy buy buy!! This session
with Master Joey is so refreshing. He never ask you to buy anything. I am
happy to learn that my previous fears are mostly unfounded" - Lily Chong,

"This is my first time hearing Joey Yap's talk.
I didn't want to come at first becos I tot it will be another sales seminar
forcing us to buy things. Lucky thing my friend insist me to come. Wow I
am so reliefed now becos I learn what is real fungshui from Joey which is
not about putting items but learning to use my space in the house. This
is what I always tot fungshui should be. I am very happy with this talk
and I will recommend it to all my friends next year."
- Ch'ng Shou Wei, Kuala Lumpur. |
He also quickly put the audience at ease by assuring them that the year of
the Rooster, contrary to popular fears, was not without a Lap Chun or Spring
("every year has a Lap Chun" he reminded the audience) and that while
the Year of the Rooster would not be good for some directions, it's also not
all bad news for everybody. You could practically hear the audience breathe
a collective sigh of relief to learn this.
"I really enjoyed the face reading tips Master
Joey gave us today. He is so funny and what an excellent speaker!"
- Jonathan Tan, Kuala Lumpur |
Joey also, in his usual witty and charming manner, debunked some Feng Shui
myths ("water on the right or left, will make the man or woman stray")
and his debunking of myths surrounding aquariums and fish had the audience in
stitches. "If your fish die, the water is..".. "dirty" chorused
the audience. "Now you're thinking classical Feng Shui" replied Joey.
During the tea breaks, audience members got a chance to view exclusive never-before-seen
footage of Joey Yap's highly successful China Excursion to Beijing and Shen
Yang in 2004 with students from the Mastery Academy, where students 'Walked
the Mountains' and learn from Joey the art of landform Feng Shui or Luan Tou
Feng Shui.

A book signing session was also held with hundreds of fans lining up to have
Joey Yap sign their books and chat with him. 'I have read your newsletters and
have all your DVD Sets and books! It's such a joy to be finally able to meet
you and thank you for having saved me a ton of money in renovations with your
Feng Shui for Period 8 enthused Wong Mei Qin, a long time Feng Shui enthusiast.
Audiences were rapt and fascinated by the post lunch session, which saw
Joey explain the Astrology of the Year 2005, which is the year of
the Wood Rooster or Yi You. There were plenty of rancuous laughs and
tickled faces as Joey not only explained to the audience the BaZi
of the Year but shared some of his knowledge on the art of Mian Xiang or
Face Reading, to shed light on a person's fortune for the year.

pleasure of learning Feng Shui, Astrology and FACE READING all at the
same time! This has been the best weekend and what a way to start the
year!"
- Stephen Cheah, Ipoh
No doubt, all the ladies in the room were itching to check their husband's
faces for the infamous Fish Tails that signify Peach Blossom appeal, while
the men in the audience were no doubt in a hurry to return home to clip
any stray nasal hairs to stop their 'leaking wealth'.

"This class has real meat! Absolutely non commercial.
I've been to others but Joey Yap is the best. He is also very genuine,
not to mention a humorous and dynamic presenter."
- Robert Pang, Kuala Lumpur
The evening ended with a lucky draw for the participants, with 4 different
rather lucky participants (no doubt, those favoured by Indirect Wealth
that day) walking away variously with free 1 Day Feng Shui Courses, free
1 Day BaZi courses and a Xuan Kong Homestudy Course course giveaway.
