Over the course of the last two weeks of January 2005, a total of four short workshops
were held at the Mastery Academy under the tutelage of Joey Yap.
These were as follows:
Feng Shui for Wealth Workshop
---------------------------------------------
This workshop focused on the financial aspects of Feng Shui within your home
or office and also how to tap into it. Held on the 19th of January, there was
also additional information on the various Wealth aspects of Feng Shui in this
Period 8.
Attendees were enlightened as to what the real 'wealth' aspect of the property
entailed and how it would bring about opportunities. It was a light-hearted
session with Joey Yap throwing out questions that would make the audience re-think
their views on what they previously read as being the 'wealth' sector in their
homes and offices.
Face Reading & Astrology for Personality
------------------------------------------------------
Any class on Face Reading is always heavily subscribed and this workshop on
Face Reading & Feng Shui for Personality was no different. It was a full
classroom on the 20th of January 2005 and the audience was brimming with enthusiasm
as they took their places.
Joey Yap touched on the various facial features that a person could use to
identify an individual's personality and character. Some attendees had even
brought pictures of their spouses and children to use as test subjects for the
workshop.
Attendees were happy with the fact that Joey had made it easy to study face
reading and that even though it was a short workshop, they learnt quite a bit
that they could apply in their everyday lives with the people they would meet.
Feng Shui for Interiors
---------------------------------
Due to the request of many attendees and students for Joey Yap to speak on
the Feng Shui within a property and how to manage the internal Feng Shui of
a property, this workshop was organised to answer the important questions of
what really does matter when looking at the internal Feng Shui of a home or
office.
Although the 21st was a public holiday, this class still drew a great deal
of attendance with many participants having postponed holiday plans to learn
more about this particular aspect of Feng Shui.
Joey Yap began by introducing the crucial difference between what is regarded
as internal and external Feng Shui in classical Feng Shui. He then spoke about
the three Key Points within your property that have a bearing on the Feng Shui.
The attendees had many questions at this point and wanted to clarify whether
other aspects of their home also affected the Feng Shui of their home and office
or if these had to even be taken into question when analysing the Feng Shui
of a property.
One attendee who was an interior designer was particularly happy as he could
advise his clients accordingly when asked about coming up with Interior Designs
that were in-line with Feng Shui principles. "I am glad Joey Yap cleared
that up for us - there is so much confusing information out there, this workshop
was really what I needed", he remarked.
Feng Shui for Apartments and Condos
--------------------------------------------------
The question of how you determine the Feng Shui of an apartment or condo has
been the subject of great heated debate with many Feng Shui enthusiasts still
unsure as to how this should be done correctly. This workshop on the 24th of
January was dedicated to sorting out this great conundrum and clearing up this
confusion once and for all.
Joey Yap began by explaining how Qi moves within and apartment and how this
then affects the analysis and the various Feng Shui techniques applied to a
property. He showed with diagrams and pictures how to take the direction of
an apartment and how you then superimpose the Flying Star chart of the whole
block into your apartment.
Some attendees were worried about the constraints posed by the Feng Shui of
their apartments but Joey also clarified this point with them and taught them
a few 'secret' tricks that could be used when dealing with smaller spaces as
is usually the case with condominiums and apartments.
The question and answer session was interesting, especially as some attendees
were describing some of the more unique layouts of their apartment blocks and
as Joey patiently explained in greater detail the potentials and weaknesses
of each of the blocks and apartment units.
