There were hundreds of Chinese Metaphysics enthusiasts gathered on July 20, 2014 in Singapore’s Raffles City Convention Centre to gain wisdom on business and politics, as well as moving forward with absolute power through Dato’ Joey Yap’s Go Forth And Conquer - The Sage Art of War seminar. The full-day seminar, exposed its eager participants to Sun Tzu’s classic masterpiece The Art of War and its connection to the ancient art of Qi Men Dun Jia.
By drawing inspiration from Sun Tzu’s Warcraft and relating it to the ancient art of Qi Men Dun Jia, the seminar revealed the ancient master’s philosophy such as Strategic Assessments, Waging War, Offensive Strategy, Deployment, Force, The Substantial and The Insubstantial, Fighting for Military Advantage, The Nine Variables, Maneuvering Armies, Terrain, Nine Grounds, Fire Attack and Espionage.
Throughout the seminar, Dato’ Joey provided the audience and participants teachings and models on how a business environment and office hierarchy in the modern world have become each individual’s own daily battleground. He also touched on how Qi Men can be beneficial by providing an additional advantage to an individual. With the practices and methods explained, the seminar managed to generate buzz and inspire the general Singaporean public to conquer battles of their own.
