(25 Nov to 4 Dec 2005 - Poland)
For the Mastery Academy students in Poland, the period between 25 th November and 4 th December was a very special affair. This was because Joey Yap made his second visit to Poland and presented an opportunity for the Polish students to have a face- to- face discussion with him without having to leave the country.
We had guests from other countries such as Spain, Slovenia, Switzerland, Denmark, Belgium, and even Canada, traveling all the way to Poland to meet the Master himself, Joey Yap.
This year, Joey Yap conducted 4 courses, which were the Xuan Kong Module 1, Feng Shui Module 3, BaZi Module 2 and the Mian Xiang Module 1.The first three courses were for the more advanced students, whereas the last one - Mian Xiang (Face Reading) Module 1 was for everyone.
The most crucial, or according to some participants, the most ‘revolutionary' course was the Xuan Kong Module 1. Despite the name suggesting it to be in the beginners' stage, this course required the student to have completed at least the Feng Shui Module 2 and definately to keep an open mind.
After the class, we did some sort interviews with the participants and here are what some of them had to say:
“Unbelievable! He is unbelievable!” (He – meaning Joey Yap)
“Shocking! Informative shock!”
“I had never expected to discover so many new aspects of the Five Elements!”
“I thought, after so many years of studying Feng Shui I already knew everything about this theory! But now I know that there's more to discover!”
“It is going to take some time to digest it all!”
And this was ONLY the FIRST module of the Xuan Kong Series!
At the moment, no other school teaches Xuan Kong at such an advanced level as Mastery Academy and it is important to remember that the Flying Star technique is just about 5% of the Xuan Kong system and nobody in the West writes about it or teaches it.
And what is more vital is that the information presented and explained by Joey Yap can be used immediately, in many situations that seem ‘non-curable'. It can be applied without even touching, not to mention renovating the space we want to ‘cure'.
The following two courses: Feng Shui Module 3 and BaZi Module 2 were based on the same approach, which is knowledge based on classics and the accuracy of the classics interpreted in the modern environment and context. The experience and skills of Joey Yap, coupled by his clear explanations, a direct approach and straight-to-the-point attitude made learning these courses fun and informative.
During the Feng Shui Module 3 class, Joey reminded us repeatedly that when looking at all the Feng Shui formulas, we need to use them wisely and selectively, not all at one time.
Joey Yap presented many forms and formulas of the environment and gave many valuable hints; some of them were just so simple! Joey kept emphasizing his most important formula, which was used to be one of the most guarded methods within the Mastery Academy: it was The Secret Formula of Common Sense. We were most fortunate for Joey to reveal that to us.

In the BaZi Module 2 class, students found out that there is no right or wrong Day Master (the key component of your BaZi chart, describing even 60-70% of your personality). Everybody has their strengths and weaknesses; and it all depends on circumstances, especially time. So the key task during this course was to learn to properly identify and evaluate these circumstances.
The 4th of December was the last day of Joey Yap's visit to Warsaw. On that day we had a chance to participate – for the first time in Poland – the Module One of the Mian Xiang Mastery Series™ - the Chinese Art of Face Reading. Some of the students thought that this would be another extremely intense course, but in fact it was a very interesting course that was a great end to the trip in Poland.
Apart from being a very informative course, it was also light, full of humor and valuable suggestions. Now instead of being able to say: ‘I can see you', we can say: ‘be careful! I can read you!'
