A book launch and talk on the art of Face Reading, Mian Xiang was held in Popular Bookstore in Ikano Power Center in The Curve, Mutiara Damansara on the 18 th December. The Feng Shui and Astrology for 2006 book written by Joey Yap was introduced to the public and was well received, with many attendees using the opportunity to get Joey Yap to sign their books and meet him in person.

The talk began with Joey introducing what Mian Xiang was all about and how a person's face is a key to his overall destiny. Mian Xiang is always an interesting subject for attendees because it so easy to apply almost immediately.

Joey gave the audience pointers on how the nose is linked to wealth and how the eyes can indicate if a person is trustworthy. The ladies in the audience listened in intently as Joey explained how to identify a life partner who would be a good and kind husband.

It was full house and as seats were limited, most attendees stood around the central concourse area where Joey Yap was speaking. An eager number of attendees still had questions after the Question and Answer session and in-between the book signing, Joey managed to provide them with solutions to their problems.
