16th to 23rd February 2006 - Canada
With so many requests from Canadian students for Joey Yap to teach in Canada, the anticipation was building for months once the students knew Joey would be teaching Mian Xiang and BaZi in Toronto.
Held from the16th of February to the 23rd of February, this class promised to be an exciting and interesting affair as Joey would be covering both systems of Destiny Analysis – BaZi and Face Reading (Mian Xiang).
The classes began very soon upon his arrival and he only managed to catch a short breather before jumping right into his hectic teaching schedule.
The classes began with Mian Xiang Module 1 – a topic that always has the students in rapt attention while trying to analyse the faces of those seated next to them. Joey kept the class interesting and exciting as he gave examples of personalities with prominent facial features and taught students how to identify crucial traits in a persons face.
The students were all eager to learn and they made full use of Joey Yap being there to have all their questions answered.
The following two days were used to teach Mian Xiang Module 2, an even more intense and information-packed course. Students who attended came from all walks of life and from all over Canada. This class provided students with advanced Mian Xiang techniques, making use of finer facial features and crucial locations on the face to determine a person’s health, relationships and overall Destiny.
A short day of rest allowed Joey Yap to recuperate and then it was back to teaching on the 20th of February as he launched into BaZi Module 1. The pre-course materials provided to students meant students were already familiar with the rudiments of plotting a BaZi chart. Joey’s main aim with this class was to teach students not only the fundamentals of BaZi but also how to understand the various aspects of a BaZi chart and how they come together to determine a person’s Life Path. Many students had brought their own charts and that of their family members and checked their skills by analyzing these charts.
For the next two days after that, Joey concentrated on the BaZi Module 2 class. He spoke about even more advanced concepts such as the Strength of the Elements and the more advanced BaZi Chart Structures. The students who attended Module 2 were quite surprised to see just how much information could be gleaned from just a person’s BaZi chart – it was almost as if their whole life; past and present, was laid out in front of them.
The dinner with the students was also a casual affair in which Joey Yap discussed more information on BaZi, Feng Shui and Mian Xiang with many of the students who joined him. Some were students who had previously studied with Joey Yap and were quite happy to catch up on old times.
