Feng Shui fans in Australia gave a rousing response to Joey Yap’s Feng Shui for Homebuyers Seminar in Perth on 2nd July 2006.
Held at the Sheraton Perth Hotel, the seminar was an information-packed experience, designed to introduce to homebuyers the correct Classical Feng Shui techniques and methods and how to apply them effectively to their properties.
The crowd initially trickled in but as it neared the event’s starting time, the registration counters were full of people registering prior to the Seminar. Others took the chance to browse Joey Yap’s range of bestselling books and also the DVD programs. The many Feng Shui practitioners who had come to hear Joey speak were intrigued with his Luo Pan and purchased it for use in their practice.
As this was Joey’s inaugural Seminar in Perth, there had been much excitement even before the event, with many attendees having flown in from other parts of the country to attend the seminar. Focusing on providing Feng Shui enthusiasts and the layman with simple and practical guides, Joey showed the audience the application of the basic principles of classical Feng Shui, including Luan Tou Feng Shui or Landform Feng Shui and 8 Mansions Feng Shui in selecting a property.
In order to find a good home, Joey said one needed to be able to judge the surrounding environment first before proceeding to assess the internal environment of the property.
He also revealed to the participants how to harness and make use of the Qi (energy) in the environment to support their pursuits in life.
Joey noted that the resident’s energy patterns and that of the house needed to be examined to match the individuals to that particular property.
Many attendees took the opportunity during the tea breaks to get his books or simply to clarify a point or two that he made during the Seminar. Some of Joey’s students who had come to the Seminar were also eager to catch up with him and say hello.
Those who wanted to get him to autograph their books took the opportunity during the break during the book signing session as well. There was an air of excitement as the attendees filed back into the seminar room for the second half of the session – there was much more to be learnt and Joey was only too happy to share his knowledge.
The Seminar ended on a high note with many attendees quickly putting down their names for his next upcoming seminar, while others signed up immediately for his Feng Shui Module 1 to be held the next day. Perth was definitely looking forward to having Joey Yap back soon and I am sure Joey is already anticipating his next visit.
