The Suntec Singapore Convention Center was a hive of activity even as early as 8am, as the crowds started milling around the various booths just outside the Grand Ballroom. It was Joey Yap’s Face and Destiny Seminar and even though the traffic this Sunday morning was a little bit on the heavy side, attendees made it a point to come early and book themselves the best seats in the house.
As it got closer to 10am and the event was due to start, many took the chance to take a look at Joey Yap’s latest set of DVDs on Face Reading and the Feng Shui for Homebuyers DVD programs.
Inside the ballroom, the excitement hung thick in the air as many of the first-time attendees were eagerly looking forward to hearing what Face Reading and Destiny Analysis was all about.
As the tempo of the music increased the 1200-strong crowd gave a thunderous applause and welcomed Joey Yap to the stage. The warm welcome was a wonderful way to start his talk and heartwarming welcome back to the Lion City.
Joey immediately launched into his talk, introducing the key aspects of Face Reading and then proceeding smoothly to the application of this knowledge as it got closer to lunch time. His entertaining style was a hit with the audience who laughed heartily at his many examples and his witty humour kept the attendees on the edge of their seats. Those who have attended Joey Yap’s seminars are familiar with his many real-world, practical examples that pepper his presentations and the Face and Destiny Seminar was no different.
During the first break, Joey took the chance to meet up with some of the local Mastery Academy Instructors in Singapore, Vin Leo, T.K. Lee and Helen Ong. He also managed to catch up with senior students of the Mastery Academy; they had all been helpful in making the Seminar a success and their support was highly valued and made it an even more exciting event.
The team from the Mastery Academy were kept busy at their tables as they fielded the many questions from the eager crowd who wanted to know more about Joey Yap’s Face Reading DVDs and his various books on Feng Shui, BaZi(Destiny Analysis) and Mian Xiang (Face Reading).
With the break quickly over, Joey Yap took to the stage again and continued his Seminar. He explained how a person’s face could be assessed based on the ‘Five Officers’ - eyes, ears, mouth, nose, and eyebrows and how to read these in more detail.
The attendees were enjoying themselves as Joey encouraged them to use their partners or the person sitting next to them as their ‘test subjects’ to practice their Face Reading techniques. It also made learning a lot more interesting when you had a real person’s face to refer to.
After a short break for lunch, Joey resumed the session, focusing on the Destiny Analysis aspect of a person using the BaZi system of Chinese Astrology. He also spoke on how a person’s Day Master would determine not just their personality but also their facial features and characteristics. The crowd was enjoying the session tremendously as Joey Yap gave real-world examples and showed them how to apply this when looking at a person’s BaZi chart.
During the tea break, Joey Yap took the opportunity to meet his many fans and sign some books; a long line quickly formed and the break took a little while longer as many of the attendees finally got a chance to meet Joey face to face after having heard him speak or having read his books.
Just before ending his session, Joey also decided to share with the audience a little bit more on Palm Reading. This was a bonus session and he gave the crowd a few tips on how Wisdom Lines and the length of a person’s fingers related to various aspects of themselves.
Although the one-day seminar may have passed quickly for those who attended, the knowledge they gained and the insight into their lives will last a lifetime!
