Berjaya Times Square, KL ( 11th July 2007)
Need to know if that person seated across you is concealing something, when he says: “Oh, I’m in the best of health…never felt better…”?
Or perhaps, you would like to be able to tell how viable and sellable a property or asset will be, with just a mere glance?
On that particular Wednesday afternoon, the agents who packed the Manhattan Ballroom at the Berjaya Times Square in downtown KL were indeed in the right place, at the right time, and for the right purpose; as appearing on stage to share with them crucial, practical tips on Face Reading and Feng Shui for business, was none other than Joey Yap himself.
Themed “The Road Ahead: Business Challenges” and organized by the Malaysian Insurance Institute, the audience were there to glean useful tips that they would subsequently be able to apply, in their dealings with other parties. Certainly, Mian Xiang (as the ancient Chinese art of Face Reading is called) allows us to glimpse into not only the personality of a person, but also his/her inherent traits, likes, dislikes and even destiny in life. And all these, reflected on one’s face, without a word having to be uttered – how’s that for a head start to an agent’s negotiations?
Everyone was equally curious to know how properties could be assessed using Feng Shui – and eagerly absorbed the numerous pointers Joey shared with them on landforms, internal layouts and certain `short-cut’ formulas that would enable them to immediately detect a `perfect gem of a property’, from a `flawed one’…Feng Shui-wise, of course.
All too soon, Joey’s one-hour session with them was up, but with the tea-break that immediately ensured, quite a few amongst the audience took the opportunity to approach Joey; to exchange views, and have doubts clarified, with many thanking him for what they’d learnt from his talk.
