London welcomed Joey Yap for his inaugural seminar in the famed city, as the 'Thriving in Challenging Times Using Classical Feng Shui and Chinese Astrology' seminar took place on Sunday, November 2. The seminar was held at the Hilton Tower Bridge, London between 10 AM and 4 PM. The cosy and intimate venue was within one of the city's most prestigious hotels, located against the historic backdrop of the London Tower Bridge.
Chairs needed to be squeezed in at the last-minute as more people filled the venue to hear Joey speak, and it was indeed worth the effort as the audience proved to be an enthusiastic and participatory one that livened up the atmosphere right from the start.
Many of Joey's students from all over Europe, including Germany and Scotland, as well as Russia, turned up for his London seminar appearance.
A lot of the audience members present were there to hear what Joey had to say about the Feng Shui and Astrology outlook for the upcoming 2009, and Joey took them through Feng Shui Afflictions and Annual and Monthly Stars for 2009, with a detailed description of the 2009 Flying Stars and the auspicious and inauspicious sectors for the year.
He also talked at length about the Chinese Astrology Forecast and Face Fortune for 2009, describing how different parts of the face for the different Astrological Signs corresponded to different parts of life for the upcoming year, especially in terms of the outlook for career, wealth, relationship, and health.
Participants were also briefed about the basics of taking directions in Feng Shui, and this proved to be valuable knowledge for the people who were being introduced to Feng Shui for the first time. Joey's trademark dry wit also went down well with the London crowd, and it was evident that the participants were enjoying themselves throughout. There was also a book-signing segment that gave both old and new fans a chance to get their books signed by the author himself.
The end of the seminar saw participants milling about for some time after, many of them keen to meet Joey in person and exchange a few words with him. The seminar finale also saw a good turnout of people keen to mingle with the MA staff who were present at the venue, and to learn more about the various programmes and courses offered by the Mastery Academy. It was an exuberant ending to a resounding success for Joey Yap in London.
