On Thursday, December 11 2008, Joey Yap was invited by Mah Sing to present a talk on 'Feng Shui for 2009.' The talk was open to the public, and held at Wisma Mah Sing in Kuala Lumpur. It saw a good turnout of people keen to hear what Joey had to say about incorporating Feng Shui into the home for 2009.

Joey shared with the audience tips on the Feng Shui afflictions to look out for in 2009, as well as the principles, or remedies, they can use to counteract them. Joey also gave the audience some pointers on the Flying Stars for 2009, and the sectors that were both good and bad - and how people are able to make the most of the favourable sectors, and minimise the negative effects of the not-so-favourable sectors.

It was an informative talk for all involved, and many were keen to pose questions to Joey at the end in relation to their own concerns regarding Feng Shui and the home.
