As a result of the many health-related questions about Mian Xiang or Face Reading Joey Yap had received from his Facebook followers, the Faces of Sickness Workshop was organized to shed some light on detecting early signs of illnesses on the face.
Coming straight from the airport, Joey jumped right in to conduct the hour-long workshop. He began the workshop with a brief introduction and history on Mian Xiang. He explained that Mian Xiang was originally an art used to assess illnesses in ancient times. Today, even a lot of Chinese doctors still utilize this skill for their diagnosis.
Joey shared some quick tips on how to differentiate between the good and bad facial topography based on shape, features like moles and scars, fleshiness and indentation, and Qi color, which is the highest level in Face Reading and should not to be mistaken as aura.
Similar to his Mian Xiang courses, this workshop also took an interactive approach which encouraged the attendees to practice simple face reading with each other. This was without a doubt brought much laughter from all as they learn throughout the session.
By the end of the workshop, all attendees went away with some basic face reading skills focusing on health that can help them determine their own well-being and of their loved ones.
This workshop was held on the Thursday evening of May 19 at The Boulevard Hotel, Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur.
Due to the overwhelming response for this workshop, Joey is scheduled to conduct another session on May 29, 2011 (Sunday) at 11am. Click here for more details and registration.
