Health is a subject that greatly concerns many these days. So when Joey Yap announced that he was going to conduct a Feng Shui for Health workshop, many were thrilled and intrigued to learn how to optimize better health using the art and science of Feng Shui.
Feng Shui is a Chinese Metaphysics study on the observation and analysis of a person's living environment and how one can harness natural cosmic energy or Qi to affect positive outcome of one's endeavors in life. The Qi of a living environment can also influence a person's health as well as other aspects of life like relationship, career and wealth.
At the start of the workshop, the participants learnt about the origin and fundamentals of Feng Shui. It is important for the participants to understand the basics, familiarized themselves with the terms and essential methods, first before they can proceed on assessment and application.
Joey explained the concept of Qi and the Eight Mansions, Xuan Kong Flying Stars and Landform Feng Shui methods the participants can wield for their property. He also taught them the proper way of taking measures for External and Internal Feng Shui, and the demarcation of property.
Getting into the topic of Feng Shui for Health, the participants learnt about the Feng Shui Flying Stars and Afflictions, what to avoid and what good Stars they can tap to affect better health for all the occupants living in the property.
They also studied how to tap on their best directions based on their Life Gua. This Eight Mansions technique can be personalized according to an individual's Life Gua and favorable direction to harness the Tian Yi or Heavenly Doctor, the positive star for health. Joey also guided the participants on which body parts and potential health concerns they should focus on according to each of the Nine Life Stars.
The workshop was certain informative for all who attended, as it was eye-opening enough for them to see how powerful Feng Shui can be to create a healthy home.
