Mention "Feng Shui" to anyone today, and the idea of object placement immediately comes to mind. It is true that this particular form of Feng Shui - better known as New Age or Pop Feng Shui - is more commonly practised today. However, the true practice of this Chinese Metaphysics study actually originates from ancient China, where no such practise of object placements was ever involved.
So if one is to study Feng Shui seriously, one should learn it the right way - that is, the Classical Feng Shui way, as practised by masters since ancient times. Mastery Academy is a proponent of Classical Feng Shui, and as an academic institution of Chinese Metaphysics, it offers formal instructions on the subject, amongst others.
Students who attended the four-day Feng Shui Mastery™ Modules 1 and 2 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, knew they will be studying Feng Shui the right way when they signed up for the program recently. Their eagerness was obvious starting on Day One as Mastery Academy senior consultant and instructor, Sherwin Ng, led them through the fundamentals.
Module 1, the introductory syllabus to Feng Shui, is a crucial stage for establishing a solid foundation in its knowledge and techniques. For any practitioner, they must familiarized themselves with the basics first before they can put anything into practise.
Under the guidance of Sherwin, the students learnt about the four key concepts that revolve around classical Feng Shui namely, Foundation, Forms, Eight Mansions and Flying Stars.Case studies of various scenarios also helped to facilitate the learning experience as the students were able to relate it to real-life situations to undertake an audit of a property and come up with the right solutions to remedy any negative influences.
In Module 2, the students ventured further into the concepts of San He and San Yuan schools, including the powerful Xuan Kong Feng Shui methodology. Through Sherwin's clear instructions and the hands-on approach of the program, they were able to apply the techniques properly for effective results.
The Module 2 syllabus is also tailored for those looking to practise Feng Shui professionally - an option welcomed by students who are seriously considering analternative career choice.
