The Mian Xiang (Face Reading) Mastery Series Module One (MXM 1): Basic Face Reading held in Dallas, Texas, on 28th August 2006 was an event that many students of Mastery Academy and enthusiasts had been looking forward to for some time.
The positive response was largely attributable to Joey Yap’s book – Mian Xiang –Discover Face Reading - which had created a lot of interest in the Chinese Art of Face Reading. Joey is regarded as a pioneer in sharing this well-kept ancient knowledge with the release of the book, especially for non-Chinese speaking metaphysics admirers.
The turn out for the event held at the Unity Church of Dallas was excellent and the organizer, Master Academy’s representative Donna Collins, worked hard to ensure the course would run smoothly and every student would derive the maximum benefit from the class.
Although Mian Xiang - The Art of Chinese Face Reading - is viewed as a very difficult and complex subject to teach, through his vast experience and expertise, Joey has been able to develop a systematic and structured education program that enables his students to digest this intricate subject with relative ease.
Mian Xiang, the study of the features and characteristics of a person’s face, is a ‘new’ field to most Chinese Metaphysics enthusiasts in the West. Even experienced BaZi and Feng Shui students who signed up for this course were pleasantly surprised at the new discovery that the course gave them.
Some of the students had learnt the basics of Face Reading through Joey’s books and decided to attend the MXM 1 to better appreciate the principles and methodologies of Face Reading. The course indeed provided them an in-depth understanding and taught them how to read and decipher specific characteristics on a person’s face.
The full day class has surely changed the students’ way of looking at others’ faces and many took the opportunity to analyse the features of their course mates during the class using the newly-found knowledge.
