November 14-16, 2008
The air was abuzz with Feng Shui excitement once again as students gathered around at the Mastery Academy office for the Feng Shui Mastery Series Module 2. Taught by the genial Feng Shui practitioner and teacher, Mr. Hung Hin Cheong, the class was held from Friday to Sunday (November 14-16) at the Mastery Academy office in Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur.
The Module kicked off with an introduction to the Luo Shu and Ba Gua, as well as a detailed explanation on how to use the Luo Pan, or Feng Shui compass. As directional and location influences are a big deal in advanced Feng Shui, students were also shown how to identify these.
While they were taught the basic essentials of San He Feng Shui, the bulk of Module 2 was focused on San Yuan Flying Stars Feng Shui, which manages to merge Direction, Time, and Influence to determine the type of Qi affecting the landforms, properties, and even the people.
Students were put to the test - somewhat - at the end of course when they were made to focus on practical case studies that were derived from traditional, classical Feng Shui texts and sources. It was a good way to ensure that students grasped the complex principles and theories that were taught over the course of the three days, and what better way than to put to immediate practice all that they have learned!
