DAY 1: The Warm Up |
|
The inaugural Feng Shui Mastery Series Module 4 kicked off in at
the Mutiara Hotel in Kuala Lumpur , with an afternoon orientation
session where students were welcomed by the team from Dragon Gate
Palace. It was rainy and stormy outside, but there was warm camaderie
in the hotel amongst the Academy’s students who came from
all corners of the earth! Faces were placed to the various names
that perhaps were only known by their Community nicknames and old
friends greeted each other with aplomb.

Students received the two black bound folders that contained
over 500 pages of carefully researched and compiled course materials,
which had been painstakingly written by Joey Yap over the course of
the last 4 months. Drawing on his many years of study and breaking
totally new ground with its emphasis on Landform (Luan Tou) study
and external environmental forms, Module 4 was set to be a power-packed
riveting seven days for the 40 odd students from all around the world.

Drawing on the interactive teaching methods utilised during the
Mastery Academy China Excursion, the schedule was packed with site
visits, where students would be using the skills and knowledge they
had acquired in the course of Feng Shui Mastery Modules 1-3 to evaluate
the landform and the Feng Shui of large scale macro scenarios using
various San Yuan and San He formulas. It was going to be intense classroom
sessions and fun-filled field challenges for this batch of inaugural
Module 4 students. |

|
The day concluded with the traditional Mastery Academy Welcome Dinner,
held on the penthouse floor of the Mutiara Hotel, affording the students
with an excellent vista of the surrounding landforms! At the dinner,
Joey reminded the students that yes, while the 7 days that followed
would be hectic, “relax, enjoy yourself! - if you’re relaxed,
you’ll learn better and we’re all here to learn!”. |
|
|
To encourage this, all students were broken up into teams and were
encouraged to pick their own team-members. Over the course of the
next few days, the teams would audit and research the sites as a
group and present their findings during the interactive analysis
sessions after each site audit.

Read what some of the students have to say about the course:
"An extremely well structured course with a tremendous amount of thought
put into it, to enable us to gain maximum amount of information in the clearest
and most concise form. You have achieved all this, yet still made it fun and
totally upbeat, thus facilitating maximum gain for us with minimum pain. I now
understand what real Feng Shui is truly about. An eye-opener. I sincerely thank
you, Joey." - Rachel Wilder
"It is a great honour to participate in this well presented, perfectly
structured and professionally organized course. As we are the first to master
the Form School Feng Shui, we are so lucky, because with this, we are ahead
of time.
While in 5 years time, everybody will talk about it; the Mastery Academy has
set the pace. To apply this now is the challenge and we will do it with pride.
Thank you. "- Johannes Maierhofer
"I have had so much fun in Module 4. It has been an eye-opener and
the concepts in Module 3 are finally getting into the mind and becoming real,
i.e., how to apply the concepts that were taught. The classroom trips were invaluable,
with the help of more advanced students. (Now I) can see the mountains' dragons'
forms scene." - Dr. Tsin Yuen Jeanne Ling
"Interesting, full of input of knowledge. Done in a nicely organized
way. Knowledge gained day by day. Just one word - excellent." - Albert
